Your First Trick
The Incredible Colour Trick
Effect: You amazingly identify the color of a crayon handed to you behind your back!
Method: Ask someone to choose any crayon from a box. Get them to hand it to you behind your back, without letting you see the color.
With the crayon behind your back, secretly dig one of your fingernails into the crayon. This will give you a bit of crayon wax underneath your fingertip.
While keeping your other hand behind your back holding the crayon, bring out this hand and place your fingers on your head, as if trying to use some magical power. As you move your hand up to your head, secretly look at your fingernail and see what color is on it. That is the color of the crayon, and that is how you do this incredible trick!
